        TECS2 series Cooling capacity: 233~1324kW The air-cooled magnetic levitation variable frequency centrifugal chiller is the successful application of the air-cooled magnetic levitation variable frequency compressor technology. Compared with the water-cooled chiller, the air-cooled magnetic levitation variable frequency centrifugal chiller has no problem of cooling water splashing and breeding legionella bacteria. Compared with the air-cooled screw and vortex chillers, it has excellent partial load performance. The application of oil-free technology eliminates the complex oil circuit system while the ultra-low noise unit vibrates, making it the preferred comfort air conditioner for grade A office buildings, general hospitals, museums and other places with large load changes and strict noise requirements.

        Frame Structure Description:

        ■ The whole frame and bottom plate of the unit are made of galvanized steel plate which has been coated with polyester, so that the whole unit is not suitable for rust.

        Compressor Description:

        Two stage, variable speed, centrifugal compressor with aluminium impellers, designed requiring no oil for lubrication. Compressor constructed with cast aluminium casing and highstrenght thermoplastic electronics enclosures. Compressor provided with radial and axial magnetic bearings to levitate the shaft thereby eliminating metal to metal contact, and thus eliminating friction and the need for oil. Each bearing position is sensed by position sensors to provide real-time repositioning of the rotor shaft, controlled by the on-board digital electronics.
        Compressor speed is reduced as condensing temperature and/or heat load reduces, optimizing energy performance through the entire range.
        Continuous modulation is possibile thanks to the integrated inverter. Signals from the compressor controller determine the inverter output frequency, voltage and phase, thereby regulating the motor speed. In case of power failure, the compressor is capable of allowing for a normal de-levitation and shutdown. Inlet Guide Vanes is built-in to further trim the compressor capacity in conjuction with the variable-speed control, to optimize compressor performance at low loads.
        The compressor is provided with a direct drive, high effi ciency, permanent-magnet synchronous motor powered by pulsewidth-modulating (PWM) voltage supply. Motor cooling is by liquid refrigerant injection.
        A non-return valve on the discharge port of the compressor is installed to protect against backflow of refrigerant during coastdown;
        a thermal protection protects against over-currents while a soft-charge device reduces inrush starting current under 2 amps.

        Evaporator Description:

        Heat exchanger, with function of evaporator, shell and tubes, flooded type, with water fl owing inside and refrigerant flowing outside the pipes. The steel shell is insulated with a foamed polyethylene closed-cell mat of 10 mm thikness and a thermal condcuctivity of 0,033 W/mK at 0°C to avoid condensation on its surface. The copper tubes are internally and externally grooved to improve heat exchange. A drop′s separator is integrated in the evaporator to protect the compressor against the possibility of liquid′s suction. A differential pressure switch is already fitted in order to monitor the waterfl ow while the unit is working, avoiding the risk of ice generation. The heat exchanger comply with PED standards, concerning to operating pressure.

        Condenser:

        Condenser adopts inverted M design to reduce ventilation resistance, homogenize air flow rate and improve heat transfer efficiency;
        Fins according to the model selection of window type/corrugated type hydrophilic aluminum fins, to ensure the heat transfer efficiency or enhance the strength of the fins.

        Control Cabinet:

        ■ The starting and microcomputer control part of the unit are integrated in the same control cabinet, located at the front of the unit, which is convenient for on-site operators to operate in the machine room and between the units, and all the maintenance of electrical parts can be carried out in the front of the unit.
        ■ The electrical control box is made of high quality steel plate, and the outer surface has been coated with galvanized powder, so that it has good weather resistance and can effectively protect the electrical components of the unit.
        ■ For the safety of the operator, once the host is switched on, the operator will not be able to open the control and electrical parts of the isolation board, to ensure the safety of the operator.
